Director of Technology - Apps & Development
I started with a trial of the NPSP in Fall of 2009 and attended my first Dreamforce that November and was blown away by the potential I saw. Interlochen had been struggling with a long-past-its-prime ERP based on a higher-ed model, and I was empowered by our leadership to dive headlong into SF and see how far I could get in 3-6 months. We're a fairly big operation, so eventually we found App Exchange partners and apps to help us get there: Convio Common Ground (now on Luminate), Enrollment Rx, PatronManager and many others as well as building our own student billing system. We've completed implementation of FinancialForce HCM for our Human Resources processes and services, and we're now rebuilding the enrollment experience for students of our Arts Camp and Arts Academy.##Salesforce MVP and co-leader of the Traverse City (Michigan) Nonprofit User Group.
