Users can't save an edited event and task in LEX when they don't have access to parent WhoID. Classic works fine.

Users can't save an edited event and task on Salesforce Lighting when they don't have access to parent who. Classic works fine.
1. Set OWD of Lead to private.
2. Create an event or task on Lead
3. Assign it to a standard user Where:-
a. Access to the Lead object at Profile level, CRUD = Unchecked (this user will not be able to access any lead record)
b. Access to Contact object at Profile level, CRUD = Checked. (If this is also unchecked, you won't see the error as the WhoID field disappears from the Page, expected)
4. Login as Standard user and open the event or task. (LEX)
5. Click Edit and Save.
Result = Review the errors on this page.
NOTE:- You would see the same issue if we try this on Contact's Activity, being the WhoID lookup.
Grant user at least READ access to the parent who record.
