Reports based with Custom Report Types do not show secondary (or tertiary) object details in Reports when viewed in Communities.
1 - Create a Community.
2 - Enable a Community user and add it as a member of the Community.
3 - Ensure that the default external sharing for the affected objects is Private.
4 - Ensure there is at least one record in this object that is shared to the Community user.
5 - Create a custom report type joining at least 2 objects.
6 - Create a report based on the report type created on #5 and ensure the record created in step #4 is displayed in the report. Save this report in a folder shared to the Community User.
7 - Login as the Community user and view the report.
Actual Result: Only fields from the primary object are visible in the report
Expected Result: Details from all involved objects should be visible as the Community user has access to all objects. The user can also view the records through the detail page without any issue.
Use a standard report type, when possible.
