Winter'18 - Flow screen not populating number input element default value while being visited again in a logical loop
Last updated 2018-05-05 ·Reference W-4469648 ·Reported By 2 users
When the flow screen is visited again in a logical loop (not iterating inside a loop element), the default value of a number input element is not populated properly - rather it retains the value entering in the screen during its first visit.
1.) Create two account records as a prerequisite
Name: a1; Employees: 1
Name: a2; Employees: 2
2.) Create a flow with fast lookup object #1 that includes a number value.
3.) Create screen with number field and set the default value to the previously mentioned fast lookup number field.
4. Update record with the entered number value.
5. Loop the flow back to fast lookup object #2 that includes a number value field.
6. Return to screen and note that value is not anticipated default.
When the flow opens, it actually looks up the account a1 and the input text box has the default value of the number of employees in account a1 - which is 1
Now click next, Now it looks up a2 and renders again.
The input text box still has old value of 1
Input text box should have the new default value of 2
The problem does not happen in Lightning Runtime - So Lightning Runtime can be used an interim workaround.
Is it Fixed?
