When using a custom "Log a Call" Quick Action on Cases, the "[Person] logged a call" Feed Item is not included in the Chatter Feed when updated

When using a custom "Log a Call" Quick Action on Cases, the "[Person] logged a call" Feed Item is not generated if a Process Builder flow updates the generated task.
When saving, you will notice that you receive a message that lets you know it was successful, the Chatter Feed refreshes and the Feed Item does not display. Upon refresh of the Case, you will see a follow-up task instead of the "[Person] logged a call" Feed Item.
This does not happen to the standard "Log a Call" Quick Action.
1. Create a Process Builder that updates Tasks.
2. Create a custom Log a Call Quick Action under Cases and add it to Page Layouts
3. Open a Case and use the newly created Log a Call Quick Action
4. Once all fields are entered, click the Log a Call button
To workaround this, you can either use the standard Log a Call Quick Action or disable the Process Builder.
