Lightning - Account and Contact are not pre-populated when creating new Work Order via RL from parent Case

When creating a work order record from the case object, in Lightning UI, the Account and contact information is not populated from the case record.
This is contrary to the current functionality in Aloha UI.
1- Log into your test environment
2- Go to the case object and choose a test record.
3- Go to the work order related list
4- Click "new" and check what lookup fields are populated already.
5- Switch to Lightning UI.
6- Go to the case record again.
7- Try to create a "new" work order from the related list again.
8- Notice the difference in populated information. (Account and Contact)
Use Classic UI to create the work order record.
Create a workflow or process to populate the missing information.
