Last updated 2018-06-09 ·Reference W-4596600 ·Reported By 0 users
When saving Forecast Settings using Lightning Experience in the Safari browser, an unexpected error message will display at the bottom of the page. This is being caused by a known issue impacting iframes in Safari.
1) Log into Salesforce using Lightning Experience in Safari.
2) Navigate to: Setup | Feature Settings | Sales | Forecasts | Forecasts Settings.
3) Attempt to modify any value and Save.
4) After 10 seconds, an error message will display at the bottom of the page (you will need to scroll down to see the error).
In Safari, the changes do successfully commit, but the user will need to refresh the page to see their changes. Other supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) are not impacted by this issue.
