Account and Contact name are not auto populated in Winter '18 in Lightning

Account and Contact name are not auto populating when creating a new case from the related list on assets in Winter '18.
1) Switch to Lightning
2) Navigate to an Asset with either Account or Contact field filled out
3) In the Case related list, click on New
4) Notice that the neither Account or Contact field is filled out in the new Case object even though the field is filled out in Asset
Use Classic or manually populate them
