SFX - Due Date does not appear on activities related list for the case object

The case object when viewed through lightning, does not show the "Due Date" field in the activity history or open activities related list when added to the proper first 4 fields.
1- Login to your testing environment as the admin.
2- Go to setup and edit your case page layout.
3- Edit the "open activities" and "Activity History" related list to show "Due Date" in the first 4 fields.
4- Switch UI over to Lightning.
5- Bring up a case with an associated activity record.
If you want these fields to be visible in Lightning, consider creating a formula field that references the DueDate field. Then add the formula field as a column on your 'Open Activity' and 'Activity History' related lists.
To make 'Open Activity' and 'Activity History' visible in Lightning related lists
1. In the 'Activity' object, create a custom Date Field Formula. The formula is simply the following field: 'ActivityDate.'
2. Go to the page layout that contains 'Open Activity' or 'Activity History.'
3. Select the related wrench icon Related List Properties for 'Open Activity' or 'Activity History.'
4. Add the custom Formula field you created in step 1. Click OK.
5. Save the page layout.
