Outlook Integration Side Panel Auto search feature updating the Recently Viewed items list in the org
Last updated 2020-01-21 ·Reference W-6985965 ·Reported By 0 users
When Outlook Integration Auto Search loads People and Records in the side panel, should not count as Views for the user, until they have actually clicked on those records.
1- Login to your Salesforce org as User A and click on a few leads or contacts to get the recently viewed items list updated
2- Send an email from one of the leads or a different email that is a lead or a contact in your org to your Outlook email address that you are using OI with your user A
3. In Outlook click on the email you received and wait for the Outlook Integration side panel to bring up the items (lead, contacts or etc associated with that email)
4. No need to click on anything or any of the record
5. Go back to Salesforce and refresh the recently viewed items list and you will see those records showing up on top even though they weren't clicked
