Users may not see all records owned and deleted by them in their recycle bin

Standard users without the 'Modify All Data' profile permission may find that they're unable to see a record that is owned and was deleted by them when looking in their recycle bin.
The user may be able to successfully see other object's records within their recycle bin while other object records aren't visible.
This is known to occur in heavily customized organizations with a very large number of custom objects and permission sets. This may lead to a situation where the underlying code to return certain object's records in the user's recycle bin unexpectedly reaches database query limits and thus is unable to surface the expected record to the user interface.
1. Create a highly customized org with a very large number of custom objects and permission sets.
2. As a standard user, delete a record that's owned by you.
3. Review the recycle bin.
Actual Results: Despite seeing other records in the recycle bin, the recently deleted record is not listed nor is it found upon searching.
Expected Results: All of the records owned and deleted by the user would be visible and searchable within the recycle bin.
Have an administrator restore the record(s) from the organization's recycle bin on the user's behalf, or use an API tool to undelete the records.
