New Task from "Save & New" button does not pre-populate field values from Edit task page in Lightning Communities

In Lightning communities, if we try to create a task from the 'Save and New' / "Save & New" button from the Edit Task page, the field values are not pre-populated as in LEX.
The behavior is same when we navigate to Edit Task page from Task Detail page, Open Activities or Activity History related list, Activity Timeline (for supported objects) on the related record.
1. Login to Community and open any Task record detail page
2. Click on Edit button, observe that the Subject, Name, Related to fields are populated
3. Click on Save and New button, observe that the above mentioned fields are not pre-populated
