Filtered Lookup Field support for Salesforce1

Filtered Lookup fields are not supported in Salesforce1 due to a difference in how they function within the API.
1. Login to Salesforce1.
2. Attempt to use a Filtered Lookup Field.
3. Results will not be as expected.
Use Full Site for Filtered Lookups per Record Detail pages.

Enhanced lookup filters ONLY on RELATED RECORDS for Winter '16 in Salesforce1
Salesforce.com specifically added support around 'enhanced lookups' Related Lookup filters. These are exposed in setup on each entity under the Customize > EntityName > Related Lookup Filters section.
Applies to even custom lookup fields.
