Dashboard Table Components (on Home Tab) not clickable in Internet Explorer

When using Internet Explorer, users are unable to drill-down to source reports of dashboard table components from the home tab.
1 – Using Internet Explorer, log in to salesforce.com.
2 – Navigate to the home tab.
3 – Click on any of the table components (do NOT click on the title).
4 – Observe that the report does NOT open.
5 – Repeat the above steps in Chrome (or Firefox) and notice that the source report does open, as expected.
Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers until the issue is resolved.
Alternately, navigate to the "Dashboard" tab and click on the component from there.
