In Lightning, there is a feature to Insert article into email. When a standard User tries to “insert article into email” though the user has all required perms, will get an Internal server error.

A Standard user does not have access to view Archived Knowledge Article. When a Topic is attached the Archived Article, user can view the archived article through Topic Related tab.
