Custom error messages not displayed in Lightning Experience when uploading files

Server error messages (added via addError() for instance) are not displayed in various scenarios (e.g. file upload) in Lightning Experience. They are displayed as expected in Classic.

Previews for support formats are not always generating.

In general Salesforce does not guarantee that all Files will generate a preview but, an issue has been found when an instance is under higher than normal load that this can lead to previews not being generated when they normally would be.

Default Record Type is not assigned when uploading content through Files or Chatter

Chatter , Content and Files

When uploading Files using Chatter, users will notice that the "General" Record Type is assigned to the uploaded content. This will happen even if a custom Record Type has been assigned as the Default Record Type on that users Profile.

Attaching a file to a record from Salesforce File sets the visibility to "All Users".

Notes share email link does not go to correct Note in Console

When customer shares a note to a user, it sends a link to the shared user. When in a Console view, clicking the link does not take you to the correct note but to most recently viewed note instead.

Email Message FeedItem Inline Images show as Broken after My Domain is deployed

Preview image no longer loads in email feed items in Service Console as well as images are broken when attempting to load the images separately. This occurs post deployment of the My Domain.
