We have one user (with a group email) set up for the Apex Exception Email. However not all exception emails are sent to this user. Some are still only being sent to the person who last deployed the component. This person may be on a different team (so they need to set an email rule to forward these emails to our support team) or no longer with the company (and therefore our Salesforce support team may not be receiving the exception notification emails). Also note that sometimes apex exception emails are suppressed (https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_exception_definition.htm).
Salesforce R&D has acknowledged the issue but states it is a feature frozen area therefore, there is no known issue is being worked on. R&D is planning to replace this feature with full-featured exception handling/notification/management system.
Need a reliable developer script exception alert mechanism so that Salesforce support teams can proactively work on fixing any exceptions without having to rely on end users reporting the issues.
