Developer Console not fully consistent with Salesforce API access
Salesforce did a great effort to let its customers choose to protect their org by controlling exactly what tools are connecting, thanks to API whitelisting and connected apps. Consistently, Salesforce delivered its own application in managed packages (Salesforce1, data loader, workbench...). But Developer Console was forgotten !
And the users need to bypass the API whitelisting in order to use Developer Console.
This would be great if Salesforce can deliver a connected app (inside a managed package) for Developer Console, so that we can choose the developers authorized to use this powerful and useful tool.
