Enable hidden picklist values on dependent fields in Pardot

Salesforce Alignment

Hi,

We would like to have the ability to hide a picklist value in a dependent field depending on the picklist value chosen in the controlling field in Pardot on Pardot Forms. This is a functionality available on Salesforce Page Layouts, and can be done by going to setup and editing an object's fields and editing a dependent field. The functionality is described as "Double click on a cell to toggle its visibility for the Controlling Field value shown in the column heading." This will allow us to better align our dependent fields in Pardot and Salesforce, allowing us to have one dependent field display different picklist values depending on which picklist value is chosen for a controlling field. Right now, to achieve this effect on Pardot forms, each different set of picklist values has to be it's own field, which creates a messy Sales experience in Salesforce.

For example, we have a field called Job Role, and each job role picklist value has a set of sub roles. In Salesforce, we could make one controlling field called Job Role and a dependent field called Job Sub Role, and put all of the sub-role values into the Job Sub Role field, only showing the relevant picklist values when the corresponding Job Role is chosen. However, in Pardot, we cannot do this, so instead we've created 7 sub role fields (one for IT, one for Legal etc.) and hide all of the fields except the one that has the picklist set mapping to the corresponding Job Role.
