Rendering Visualforce Page as Word Document
Apex & Visualforce
I know that this already a functionality in Salesforce by using the ContentType="application/msword in the <apex:page> core tag, which is great. There are just a couple of items that might make rending a Visualforce page as a Word document a little more useful.
1. Word document should open in Print Layout vs. Web Layout
2. Items in a custom rich text field, that could include images, tables, etc. to display correctly. (*displays perfectly as a pdf)
3. Page Numbers (using some code to display this is not very simple)
