The new reporting bucket fields are very useful, but they would be much more useful if you could add filters (where / if clause) to them.
For example, there's an option to add bucket fields to show the 'Number of Activities' associated with a record (e.g. each Lead if you're reporting on Leads).
However, by default this includes open activities and activity history. So if you only want to bucket leads by the number of activities performed in the past, you run into problems (open activities are counted).
Also, we track missed calls as activities, so you can't exclude these.
Another thing we'd like to exclude is activities logged by departments that aren't relevant to the report user. E.g. if I wanted to bucket leads by the number of activities made by the Sales Team (not by Finance, Support, Marketing etc) I wouldn't be able to do that.
If you could have a bucket field that shows the Number of Activities where Assigned Role = Sales AND Status = Closed AND Type != 'Missed Call' for example the feature would be perfect.
