Exclude Spam Attachments like company logos in email to case

Case Management

We have email to case enabled since some time and have opened up the cases object to our account managers.
However, after a while they started complaining that the attachment section on their accounts is overflowing with SPAM attachments, which could be anything from a case-related email, like signatures, company logos, social media icons, screenshots etc.

For some accounts, we could have easily hundreds of attachments stored in the notes & attachments section, which made it completely useless for the account owner to search for anything relevant. They would end up searching through files called 'image.001, image.002, logo.001, etc....

We followed this up with Salesforce, but learned that this is 'working as designed'.

What we need is a possibility to exclude unwanted attachments from emails related to cases to be stored in the general notes & attachment section on the account. Respectively, we would want to be able to choose only the ones that are relevant. Secondly, it would be better if the attachments do not show up under the account related list, but only in the attachments for the case. The account attachment section will overflow at some point anyway.
