Search for users - in the user/setup screen

Global Search - Desktop

It would be good to be able to search for a user when in the user setup screen. This will allow you to edit or log-in as the user quickly instead of creating a custom view or searching through the alpha list. When an org has a large number of users, this type of functionality seems like an obvious miss in the administration setup.

I apologize for not updating this idea more promptly. We did deliver the ability to search for users from the Setup sidebar in Winter '14. Type in a minimum of two characters, press Enter, and you will land on the Setup search results page. As a prerequisite, Advanced Setup Search must be enabled at Setup | Customize | User Interface.

Tip: Bookmark the following URL to save your favorite Setup searches, substituting "aaa" with your search term as appropriate.
