Is there a way...a user navigates to a contact record, hovers over activity history and clicks the Send Email button. From this interface user clicks the 'Select Template' button. User is now presented with ability to select the email template folder, and is also displayed columns: Name, Type, Description.
I have a request to customize these columns; specificially user who is selecting the email template would like to see the Subject value. Doesn't seem possible, but thought I would ask!
There are a few ways of solving this, but an easy one to consider is changing one of the existing fields (Name or Description) to contain the Subject name instead. I have long answers, but I really recommend using the short solutions when you can with Salesforce.
