Why aren't contacts appearing on the Campaigns with Influenced Opportunities Report

Hello All,

I'm trying to run a Campaign with Influenced Opportunities Report and pull in the Contact, Phone # and Email Address.  On some opportunitities it works and others it doesn't.

Very frustrated right now as I've compared contacts that show up vs. no shows.

I can have a single account with multiple opportunites and one opportunity will show contact and the other will not. I ensured the contact has been added to the campaign.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Anthony

Can you post a screenshot of the Report, the Report Type, and the Filters, and Settings that you're currently using and the results you're getting?  For questions related to Analytics: Reports and Dashboards those are really helpful.

In SFDC there are basically 3 reasons why something doesn't show up in a Report:

1. It does not meet the scope or filter criteria of the Report
2. The User does not have at least Read access to it
3. It does not exist

Hi Steve - Report Type is Campaigns with Influenced Opportunities.  I don't have any filters set.  You'll notice in the screen shot below that there are accounts like Tenfold BC have 3 opportunities all related to the same campaign but only one shows Contact information.

Very much appreciate your help.
Thank you.

Click on one of the Opportunity Names in the Report that does not have Contact, I'll bet you a beer that the Opportunity is connected to the Campaign via the Lookup(Primary Campaign) field on the Opportunity.

I'll just wait here...

Ok.. I followed you up to the Lookup part.  Here is one of the opportunities that doesn't have a name associated with it.
I noticed down at the bottom under Campaign Influence the contact name is not there.  BUT, when I look under the actual campaign the name is there.

Is that the Campign that it's showing up under in the Influence Report?

Also, I notice that the Primary Contact checkbox is unchecked

Yes.  That is the campaign.  I checked off the Primary button but that didn't make a difference.

Is that Contact a member of that Campaign?
Anthony GuacciAnthony Guacci
Yes.  It's weird because it shows up under a different opportunity with the same campaign name.

On another note.  If I create a lead and assign it to that campaign and then convert it, it shows up on the report.

What are your Campaign Influence Settings and how do the Opportunity Created Date and Campaign Member Dates jibe with them?
Anthony GuacciAnthony Guacci
I just have it set Enabled.

Campaign Influence time frame is blank

I wonder if this might be it:

Auto-Association:
"Automatically adds Campaign Influence to an opportunity. For the campaign to auto associate, the contact on the opportunity must be assigned a contact role prior to the opportunity close date and also be a Campaign Member on the campaign."
