Data loader vs. Dataloader.io

I am currently using Dataloader.io to import data to Salesforce.Currently it has a limit of 10000 records per month unless you upgrade it to a premium.

I would like to ask if I download the Dataloader for Windows from setup to my computer , does it have a limit as well same with Dataloader.io which is 10000 records per month ?

Thank you in advance.

Not an issue Hyron.

If you download Dataloader for windows, you won't need any additional subscription or need additional licences. You can download, use your current salesforce licence and start import up to 5 million records a day by just login into Dataloader.

You are on the right track Hyron. Dataloader supports loading of 5 Million records.

Here is an article (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=when_to_use_the_data_loader.htm&type=5) that explains a bit more

Hi Srinivasa,

Thank you for the answer. However what I meant is the limits since dataloader.io gives you the privilege only to export/update/insert/delete a total of 10000 records per month. Unless you bought a premium plan where you can import/export/update/delete unlimited records but upto 5 million records only at a time.

Because right now when I am trying to update only 22 records , dataloader.io gives me this error:

The current task would have exceeded your monthly record limit of 10,000 records for your plan. Upgrade your subscription to raise your monthly limit and get more features from dataloader.io!

If I download data loader for windows , I don't need to subscribe to any subscription plan right ?
