Master-Detail and Lookup Relationship between 2 objects.

Hi Experts

I am experiencing a problem with salesforce relationships in my new organisation where I joined just this week.
So whats the story,
We have Satndard fields Account and Cases.
1.  On Account Object, there is no field called Case as there is no relationship field between Account and Case on Account Object.
2. On Case object, there is a relationship between Accounts and Cases (means there is an Account field (Lookup field )).
3. Cases are represented as a related list tab on Account Page Layout and One Account can have many Cases.

Now the Requirement is,
We have a field called Requested Price Code on Case Object and we have a field called Last Discounted Code on Account Object. Now what I want is whenever a case status is updated to "closed" and Requested Price Code is not blank, Then update the field on Account Object (Last Discounted Code = Requested Price Code). As simple as it is. But the problem is when I go and create a Process Builder on Case, I cannot find Last Discounted Code as an option to update.
Neither, I can create a formula which simply says Last Discounted Code = (Account > Case > Requested Price Code) Because Case is not coming on Account list.

I hope that makes sense.
Any help on this wil be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Jasmeen

Hi Jasmeen,

You can achieve this through Process Builder. I am attaching screen shots for your reference:

Below is just for your understanding, you may need to change fields as per your requirement:

Hope this may help.

Thanks Ankush.
It worked. Actually, I was trying to find that field on Record Type. Silly me.
Well thank you so much.
Have a great day!
