Donations by Period

OK, so my month end reports are messing with me :( 
For some reason my Donations by Period is now not pulling all pledge payments made during that time period and i can't figure out why. It pulls some over but seems to not be pulling the ones that i've schedueld payments for. So we  get a pledge, i schedule the payments - a payment is made in a time period but not picked up on either Donations by Period or even Pledge Payments by period.

Not sure what i'm missing?

My check on if it is even possible for a record to be a report is to clear all report filters then create one report filter which is Opportunity ID equals [pledge opportunity ID]. Then if the record shows up that means something is wrong with your filters. If the record does not show up that means something is wrong with your report type

Are you using NPSP? What objects are you reporting on?

Oh sorry - yes NPSP! Reporting on donations deposited from September 1 to September 30 so i can match to our real time check log and make sure all opportunites against SF accounts are correct and coded to correct bucket etc. But i'm finding that whatever account reports i use i still can't pull over pledge payments made in that period where those payments have been previously scheduled against the opportunity....

If your pledges do not have payments that would be a reason they would not show in the report.
