CPQ - Product Price based on a currency field

Hi !

In our company, sales reps need to price most of our products based on a single currency field, for example the prospect turnover.

Can I do this with CPQ ?

Actually, I think I just find a workaround.
I added a product "Turnover" that I'll discount 100%, and I created products A and B with a Percent Of Total pricing method and the Turnover product as the "Percent Of Total Target".

Hi Nathan,

Yes you can set up prices of products based on other custom fields in Salesforce CPQ. You can also check the link below:

Hi Bhawani. the link you've provided explains how sales reps can select a pricing method.

I'd like to design a product list with prices based on a % of the prospect turnover.
In this way, when sales reps create a quote, they'd simply fill a currency field.

Example:
  • Product A price = x % of the turnover
  • Product B price = y % of the turnover
When a sales reps quotes a company that makes 1M€ a year, the quote amount with these 2 products would be x*1M€ + y*1M€.

Using the quantity field doesn't work as our organisation use many currencies.

I couldn't find a way to design this so far

Great! And yes your workaround should work perfectly!
