Hi Nidhi,

Have you created a workflow on case object, with an action of sending email using the email template you just created. Please make sure you have all these things in place, to have it working.

I haven't created any workflow rule yet Do I need to create a workflow rule in order to test email template ?

Are you using "Send Test and Verify Merge Fields" option, if yes, then you don't need a workflow to be created. You just need to select one case record while testing, and things should work.

Please check in your email deliverability settings, set it to "All Emails".

Hope this works!!

Thanks

yes I am using "Send Test and Verify Merge Fields". I didn't understand this point "You just need to select one case record while testing, and things should work."

@Nitish where that number is coming from ? Do I have to create a case in order to get that number ?

Yes, first you need to create a sample case record, and then use that here using the magnifier symbol for lookup.
Also remember to mark the checkbox "Send me email preview".

@ Mayank you mentioned to check email deliverability is not set to "No Access".
How can I check that ?

You can also check your spam folder, in case they are moving not to inbox but some other folder.

Please check.
