Dashboard numbers are not matching with source report

Hi,
Please see scource report and dashboard component below. My dashboard numbers are way higher than source report. I even tried selecting "Use chard as defined in source report".
What am I missing here?
Thanks
Tarun

What is the theory behind thisÉ

If you choose running user then dashboard will  applied running user security settings for which data to display in a dashboard. Take a look here (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=dashboards_select_running_user.htm&language=en_US&type=0

This running user has access to the data in the report.

Yes but if you set that user as running user then it will display the data as per that running user permissions alawyas there. So instead of that you can set login as user so every user will see data as per their permission.
