How to hide stage path in opportunity

Hi community

My client wants to use a new setlist of stage to replace the current existing standard one

Problem is for the already created opportunity, once the new stages are introduced, will also see this new setlist

I have no problem for opportunities that are still not close, but for those which already closed won/lost, I don't want these opportunities to see the new setlist of stage

So question, is there a way I can hide the stage path for closed won/lost opportunities from being displayed. Else, what would be the best solution or it

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You could approach this by using a Workflow Rule or Process that fires upon completion of the first Path. Let that automation convert the Record Type of the Lead to another record type, and update the Stage to the first stage in the lead process assigned to that new record type.

The Paths that you've configured for those record types in Path Setup would then be shown based on the record state.

The Path component uses Paths that are built in Setup (it's not a generic visual component for any picklist field), so you can't simply point multiple Path components at different picklists and use component visibility to surface them. However, if all you want to do is hide the Path at a particular stage, you can use the Component Visibility filter in Lightning App Builder.

Hi Anel

Yes, all I want to do is to hide the path completely so thanks for the shared solution! It solves my problem
