Salesforce Caching

Hey everyone, is there a way to prevent this from happening (picture) in Classic -

My users go to set the date for a task and the column appears on the left side with cached dates, so if they want to set the reminder for Monday or Tuesday, it blocks off the days and they either have to do it manually or click and change.

Is this just the  Salesforce Autocomplete for the Global Search and Lookup fields that is turned on or off for every user, or can I control is another way?

I think that's the browser's cache which is giving them the prior choices. You could try using a browser you've never used SF.com with and if you don't see prior entries, it's not Salesforce and it's the browser. At that point, you'd have to dive into your browsers cache and autofill options to clean it up.

Hi Peter,  This is your browser autocomplete suggestion functionality. One option is to press the escape button when this appears and it should remove the list of archived dates and give you the calendar to select the date.

To permanent remove this, you can change the browser settings. From the screenshot, I cannot guess which browser you are using but if you using chrome, remove existing cache date by going to Chrome Settings >>  Privacy & Security >> Clear Browsing Data >> Auto fill form data. After this, go to auto fill settings and switch off the auto fill forms setting.

Yes that is correct Salesforce Autocomplete for the Global Search and Lookup fields that is turned on or off.For other fields like text, date  that is a standard browser behaviour and it is not dependent just on salesforce and you need to clear the cache or change the browser's setting for the user.

Thanks everyone!  It ended up being the browser settings, should have thought to check that first.
