I am trying to update our LinkedIn wideget and instructions provided indicate editing Record type Settings under Profile. I don't see that as an option. How do I find Record Type Settings. Here are part of the instructions:

  1. In the “Quick Find” panel that appears on the left-hand side of your screen, type “Profiles”, and select “Profile”
  2. Click into your first Profile that is not System Admin
  3. Scroll to “Record Type Settings”
Find the Tasks section and click the Edit link

....I don't see Record Type Settings any where.

You should get something like this:

Just deselect the values.

If you want to be sure you are doing the right thing and want it to look like the tutorial above, you can switch back to the old version of profiles. Just go to setup> search for User Interface.
Then click on

With that set to false, you can see the above version!

You might need to go to the Object if you see a two section list when you click into the Profile. There are two different styles when viewing. Would you mind posting a screen shot of the profile when you click into it?

Hi, PAtrick. This is what I see when I click on Profile. According to instructions, I am to choose the first non-SysAdmin profile and then navigate to Record Type Settings. I don't see that listed in the Profile Overview.

So, click on Object Setting (in the first section). Then click on the Object you are updating. IN there you will see any record types listed at the top.
