No way to "Add Tasks"

Hello- I don't have the ability to add tasks to accounts/opportunities/contacts. Its just not an option for me. Other sales staff in my org have this ability, but I can't seem to find the switch to enable it for me....Any thoughts? Thanks!!

If the button / Quick Action is missing from your page layout, it is most likely a page layout assignment.  You will have to check with your Salesforce Administrator for assistance since it will mean a change to the configuration of either your org or your user permissions.

Hi Greg,

Are you using different profile? or do they have a seperate permission set which provide them this access?

Thanks,

Thanks for the quick responses. So I think that I "am" an admin.....haha!! I just followed some XKCD Tech advice https://www.xkcd.com/627/ and flipped a switch in Tasks / page Layout back to "default" where it had some custom Force script option enabled for tasks. Seems to have brought it back to life, and other sales people are not screaming in agony......so far so good, thanks for the rapid response!!
