Sandbox refresh - ALL emails changed to append with .INVALID including System Administrator

Sandbox refresh - ALL emails changed to append with .INVALID so I can't receive verification email and I can't login?? thoughts? thanks

Normally, the user who refreshed the sandbox keeps their regular email. Are you sure you used your user to refresh the sandbox? Try refreshing it again.

That's standard behavior with a Sandbox Refresh 

What happens when you try to log into your Sandbox?  Are you getting an error message?  Or does it just not log you in?

It is sending a verification email to an invalid email address and I can't login...whether I click on 'login' from where I refreshed the sandbox or just logged in...tried creating a new sandbox and same thing...haven't had this problem before Thanks, Mardi Diamond mardidiamond@gmail.com 415-298-0976

Do you have multiple Sandbox orgs the the same instance URL?  This happened to me a while back, I ended up getting in by logging into https://test.salesforce.com and manually entering my login credentials

YEs - when I did that still sent an email Tried creating a new sandbox too - same result

Hi Mardi, your password in the refreshed sandbox will be the same as your Production password. Just remember to add .(sandbox name) after your Prod username when logging in to sandbox.

I have logged in correctly but it sends the verification email to an invalid email address -- added .invalid to the end

That’s standard behaviour Mardi, just edit the email address and you will receive a confirmation email at the new email address. If you want to update the email address and change the password, edit the User, update the email address and tick the box to reset password. That way the email address is updated immediately and you will receive the email to reset password.

Thanks - that was the issue - I had refreshed from a different user!
