Can I modify the screen after hitting change account owner so that options to change closed opportunities are not showing?

What I am seeing is when my managers are changing account owners they are not paying attention to which boxes they are checking on the next screen and are changing historical closed won Opps and I want to prevent them from doing this. Any way to modify the screen with the checkboxes upon account transfer?  User-added image

Hello Hilary,
You cannot customize the  account owner change page, thats the standard screen.

As a workaround you can create a Validation rule on Opportunity to prevent ownership from changing when it marked as "Closed Won".

Its not working fully, still changing owner on a few of the opportunities within the account but I will keep testing. Thank you for your reply!

I am not sure validation rule as suggested by Ahilesh will help
When using Mass Transfer functionality Validation Rules are bypassed.
other than building a customized page the only way is to educate and train the users on checking the right boxes

Agreed with Sunil.

Even opportunity ownership transfer through Account transfer screen is considered as "Mass transfer".
I assumed it would be considered as single transfer,I was wrong!
VRs are not fired in case of Mass transfers.
