bulk update prospects as do not email or opted out in pardot !

Hi Folks..Good Morning from India :)


I am a Pardot newbie and would want some assistance in marking several prospects (about 30K) as 'Do Not Email' or 'Opted Out' (both these fields are additional fields to default and not custom) to be well within my system limits. I tired with updating the prospects via a CSV update using email ad IDs but these two fields do not show up at the mapping screen.

Is there a way I can achieve the above requirement. I do not want to delete prospects here.

Have you tried with automation rule to change "Do Not Email" to TRUE? Similar issue here (https://success.salesforce.com/answers?id=9063A000000DcMpQAK)

Hi Priyannk,

Welcome to Pardot then, you'll see is super powerful and user friendly. They actually have a very good knowledge base, the team does a great job to keep it updated and relevant (some articles are migrating to help and training)

Hello Pritam and Ines !

Many thanks to your super effective responses in almost no time after I posted !! I was able to mark all desired prospects as 'Do Not email' with automation rules and that was super easy and effective too. 

Now I have this all sorted ! Altough, support has still not changed the status of the case i logged 3 days back (still shows pending in queue... :( )

Generally Pardot documentation is great, always first place to look for they are doing a very good job on keeping ui updated, relevant and easy to digest. Of course the community always here to help too!
