Mass Uncheck a checkbox using Dataloader? "Insert Null Value"

I am trying to mass uncheck a checkbox using the data loader but I keep getting errors back saying the value is not valid. I have checked the box "Inset Null Values" in the settings of the data loader, and have tried to leave the column of the checkbox blank, tried to populate it to say "NULL" and also tried "#N/A" none have worked. All give error messages. How can I mass uncheck a checkbox?

You just have to use either the digit 0 or word FALSE. That should do it.

Hi Cody,
Replace all the null values with False and try to update

Thanks for the fast replies, however, I don't want the box to read false either. I need it to be unchecked. Is this possible?

Unfortunately no. Checkboxes can only take two values - checked(TRUE) or un-checked(FALSE).

Here you are not making the field value NULL and you want to uncheck the field which means either you need to put FALSE or 0 in the respective column of your csv file.

Haha!!! Ok, I get it. False of course means its unchecked, there is no third option, duh!!! hahahaha, thanks!
