How do I let users see Fault Connector messages in Lightning Flow

I use these in production and they work great. i started using them on a new flow in a new sandbox and all I get is the generic error message instead of the custom message in my Fault Connector.

Is there something I need to set up in the sandbox for this to work?

In the first case, did you receive any error email? What was the error described in the email?

When I am logged in as another user I do not see the fault connector messages. I am trying to trouble shoot the flow. It is failing for this user type but does not fail for me. I need to see the custom message to tell exactly where it is failing. I can't use the debug while logged in as this type of user.

I wasn't thinking. I don't have email set up on this sandbox. I iwll set that up and that will solve my problem.

Thanks for the tip.

Strange...I do have email set up on the sandbox and my email addy is correct but I am not seeing any failure emails for any of these flow errors.

Do sandboxes send flow failure emails?

Ohh. That's expected behaviour. You will not receive any error because you are catching the flow error via fault connector.

What I would suggest is remove the fault connector for the moment to check if the error message in the flow error email is same for you and that particular user. You need to first establish this before troubleshooting any further.

Will do!

Where are these notifcations normally sent? I know that in production they are sent to a distribution list. Do I need to set up something to make sure that I see the failure notice since it was initiated by another user?

These notifications are normally sent to the admin.
To set this up, go to Setup -> Search for 'Process Automation Settings'.

That did the trick!

Thanks much.
