Dashboard Error

Hello,

I'm getting the below error when i try to create a dashboard, the report is saved in a folder that the running user has access to
Also the running user has access to all the fields for the Opportunity Object (that's the report type) and all of the other components of the dashboard are savec in the same folder everything else is working expect this specific component

We can't show this table because the "Viewing as" person doesn't have access to all the fields.

Dashboard Error

Any ideas please?

Thanks,
Hemdène.

Hi Hemdène,
I would double check the field permissions.

Is the user able to run the report you are using in the dashboard? if not I would concentrate on it.

I had the same experience today. As I was troubleshooting this, I also got the error message below. Finally, removing the offending component and re-adding it did the trick. Thanks for posting your experience.
ERROR MESSAGE:
Invalid number of layout components. The number of components in the layout must equal the number of components in the metadata body.
To save, first resolve dashboard filter errors.

I've been trying to figure this one out for a bit.  Removing and adding works for about a day and then it will show this message again.  Validated what was suggested above for field level access and able to run the report.

I'm getting the same error and I'm viewing as myself (Admin). I created the report, can run the report, and have access to all fields.

I'm getting the same error, always on the same report, and I always have to remove and re-add the component. It's happened a dozen or so times over the last few weeks. Something else must be going on here.

I've been getting the same error with a particular report on one dashboard. Readding the report to the component still ended up with the error message. But fully deleting the component, adding a new component, then readding the report to the component seems to have done the trick. (Hopefully it stays that way)

I was actually scammed by The Alternative Loan Machine $4,200. I know them. They are local to me. I paid them for work on my credit that they assured me would be done. It wasn’t done. They promised a refund. It’s been 2 months and the refund never came. Now, no one answers their phone, returns calls, or is on line at their chat “Help Desk” anymore. All the assurances of preventing scams and ensuring work, ended up all being B.S.

Then i was looking online just as you're doing right now and i came to find out about a good samaritan who helps people fix their credit for so much lesser amount of money, i emailed them and my credit that wasn't fixed in 2 months was fixed in 72 hours. Their email web site should be https://mahogany-lending-group.business.site/ contact them today and thank me later guys...
