Lead Routing - 2 to 1 Assignment
- Team A member 1 gets one lead
- Team B member 1 gets the next lead.
- Team A User 2 gets the next lead.
- Team B member 1 gets the nexy lead
- Then it starts again.
Not sure if this is possible or what would be considered best practice.
Not tried this but how about creating an 'autonumber' custom field that starts at 1 on your Lead object. Every time a Lead is created, this field will be populated with the next number, e.g. 2, 3, 4...
Not sure if you can do the next bit in your lead assignment rule or if you need a custom formula field that you can reference, but you use the 'Mod' function, which gives the remainder when a division sum is performed, e.g. Mod(7,3) returns 1 because 7/3 the remainder part is 1. If the mod returns 0, assign lead to Team A member, if 1, assign to Team B member 1, if 2, assign to Team A user 2. Change the rule if more team members arrive.
