internal server error

While requesting the following VisualforcePage I got as result the following errormessage:

An internal server error has occurred An error has occurred while processing your request. The support team has been notified of the problem. If you believe you have additional information that may be of help in reproducing or correcting the error, please contact Salesforce Support. Please indicate the URL of the page you were requesting, any error id shown on this page as well as any other related information. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you again for your patience and assistance. And thanks for using!

Error ID: 8306116-1763 (393970645)

The salesforce support team sent me here, to get answers. The error message sounds for me, as if salesforce has an issue, the answer of the support team sounds, as if I had an issue. If so: who can help? I tried the same with an empty page (only tags page and form were left) and got the same error message and the systemprotocol listed success and no errors in my controller code.

Anyone who knows a solution or who had the same error message?

What were you trying to access when you received this message, a standard Salesforce page, an Apexchange app page, a custom Visualforce page?
Harald KloseHarald Klose
I tried to access a custom Visualforcepage. In my latest tests this page has only the following tags:

<apex:page standardController="Auftragsposition__c" extensions="BarVerkaufWizardController" tabStyle="Rechnung__c">
    <apex:form >
        <apex:PageBlock ID="Zahlvorgang">

resulting the same error.

Thanks for help!

Is this a Visualforce page you created or part of an Appexchange app? If the Visualforce page is part of an Appexchange app you will need to contact the creators of the app. if it was an app by Labs then I suggest you post the message on the Labs Project Developer Discussion Board.

It is a VFPage created by me. But I don't know what to do. I have tested nearly everything and can't get the solution. The support team told me to post this here to get an answer.

Have you solved that problem? The same error happened to me.

I think I have solved the problem, but as this was five months ago, I cannot remember the solution. I'm sorry.

Good luck!

Glad you got a resolution though! :)

Hi Friends,
I am also getting same Error When on a custom VF Page I am using two input fields ( both pickList Type) one is master and other is dependent on previous one.

When I remove input field of master pick list from Page i got error 'SALES FORCE INTERNAL SERVER ERROR'  ....let me know if there is a fix.

It is necessary for me to remove master pick list. Only dependent Picklist should be on Page..

I was having the same problem after updating my account to the NPSP3 package. Not having any packages that expire it turned out that clearing/refreshing my web browser's cache fixed the problem.
