Clone Button for Accounts

I followed the knowledge article 106081 for creating a clone button on account records.  It tells me the URL no longer exists.  Since I only have basic support they can't help and said response time from development would be about a week.  Any ideas from those of you that might have done this already?

I notice the formula you posted:  {!Account.Id} / e?clone=1  has some blank spaces in it, try tightening them up:   /{!Account.Id}/e?clone=1 .  also you're missing a forward slash in front of {!Account.Id}

That's what I followed and it says the URL no longer exists. The SF
knowledge article is 106081. I believe I followed every step correctly.
I created a custom button as follows:
Label: Clone
Name: Clone
Description: Button to clone accounts
Display Type: Detail Page Button
Behavior: Display in existing window w/out sidebar or header
Content Source: URL
Select Field Type: Account
{!Account.Id} / e?clone=1
My syntax shows no errors but when I click preview it says URL no longer
exists.
Is there something I'm missing or overlooking?

Sincerely,

Okay, you can't preview it using the Preview button, because you are not "in" an Account detail page.  Just save it and pull up an Account detail record and fire it up.

That was my 1st thought after it happened and already tried it - same
error.

I tried that the 1st time too.  I just tried again as a sanity check and still the same error - URL invalid.  Now I also have to find a way to delete my information.  I didn't know that it would post when I hit reply and I don't have a delete next to the entry; if you do, please delete,

Hi Slayer,
I don't work for Salesforce, I'm just a customer Admin like you. You'll have to contact SFDC Support for that.

Can you post the EXACT formula that you're using now?

Can you post a screenshot of where you're creating this button?  something doesn't look right

I missed the part about the forward slash and, inedeed, that was the missing link.  THANK YOU!
