How do I set up a Workflow Rule/ Email Notification

I'm trying to set up an worflow rule and email notification to update the person that assigned a task, that the due date they entered was changed.

Is this possible?

I am using Professional Edition.

in the workflow, instead of using filter criteria - use a formula (there is a picklist to change this above the filters)

The formula would be...
ISCHANGE(Date) = True

*NOTE - unless you have workflow enabled Professional Edition you can not use workflows.

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried to set up a workflow rule but when i choose the Task Object, there is no choice for the Due Date (ActivityDate) field. Is there another way to do this?

You unfortuantely can't send workflow alert emails off of the Task object, regardless of what edition you're on... :-/

Thank you. I promoted the idea. Surprised there is no way to do this!

Blame I tried this but unfortunately the formul won't work on teh ActivityDate field (Due Date) field in the task section and says it is an unsupported field type...
