How to view the URL of a Case in the Service Cloud Console?

Greetings-

Our staff have become dependant on a process whereby they communicate case details with their teams by copying the URL of the case and pasting it into a chat or email message.

We're considering switching to using the Service Cloud Console, but the frame design of the Service Cloud Console prevents access to the URL's of cases. The only URL available is the URL of the console itself.

Does anyone have a suggestion for accessing a case URL within the Service Cloud Console?

Thanks!

If you're using the Service Cloud Console, you might rethink sending around the URLs and instead send around the case numbers.  Then people could just paste the case number into the search box up top and it should pop up.

That said, you could add a formula field to Case with the following formula to make the URL in a field for you:

"http://na3.salesforce.com/" & Id

(replace the "na3" with whatever instance you're actually on)

Then put that field towards the top of your case page layout so your support reps can copy it.  But again, if everybody's using the Service Cloud Console then pasting in this URL will bump them out of it, so it may not be such a good idea to use URLs.

Found the answer by clicking around furiously.

In the upper right corner, hidden above the scroll bar, is a barely noticable arrow:

Clicking on the chain-link produces the pop up with the shareable URL:
