Subscribe button not showing in Joined reports

Subscribe button is shown only for Summary and Matrix format and not for Joined report format.The first image shows the Subscribe button is available for Summary format. The second image is from Joined report format.

Is this a limitation or i'm making a mistake. Please advise

There are limitations to what you can do with joined reports. Exporting is one of them, it looks like subscribing is another.

I ran into the same limitation a while ago. Things like cross filters, conditional highlighting, bucket fields , snapshots aren't possible with Joined Reports. Subscription isn't either. 
I would recommend creating an idea for this.
