This is a joke! Our quotes are randonmly ordered often with important items show up in the middle of all the required items. This is confusing our customers and frustrating our sales staff. I was sold on the benefit of an automated quoting system that does not work. All other systems I have worked with allow you to sort the order of the item in any combo you like. Given the cost of this system I really can't see why a developer at salesforce does not fix this today.

We have been struggling with this for a LONG time! We print from the Quote Lines and our technicians follow steps. Currently the lines get resorted and are REALLY causing confusion and job quality by these lines being sorted alphabetically. They should default to the order they are entered or the user should have the ability to sort by column and the PRINT the exact way it presents itself.
PLEASE this should have an URGENT resolution!

We are running a Live quote application that gives pricing from our Sage ERP. This quote screen allows us to create multiple lines including a /C comment line. When I save it Salesforce changes the sequense in the Quote Template and makes it not understandable. I am trying to push this out to production but can't until this is fixed. Alpha Easy Sort is workaround but not a long term fix. Please advise when this will be released.

Struggeling to get used to Lightning, ready to send the first quote and can't find a way to sort the product lines - really???
I see you have been asking for this very very simple feature for months already and it's still not there - have to install an app for that - brilliant.

Install Alpha Easy Sort from the app exchange. It provides a window to sort as you would normally in classic and apply those changes to Lightning. At least a helpful work around while Salesforce takes their sweet time with implementing this most basic requirement for anyone who quotes customers.
