AAkonsult Campaign Status - update
We are not aware of any issues with the App.
However, we have taken the App off the AppExchange due to the number of support queries being raised. Most time, these answers were already available on the FAQ and or questions that most admins should already know the answers to. The queries were answered on a volunteer basis and this has become too much.
We are working with Salesforce ISV partnerships to see if we can list if for a small fee to cover our costs.
Thanks all for your wonderful support and feedback so far. Hopefully, we can bring it back soon.

@meaghanLynch In the flow I just created a variable to accept the incoming campaign ID from the process. It looks like this in the old designer:
and in the new builder it looks like this (click path is Manager>New Resource>Resource Type = Variable:
From your screenshot, I believe you can create the variable if you click on the magnifying glass there were it is telling you to enter value, but I can't remember for sure.
I hope this helps!

I have been doing this same thing with the process builder and flow for years without the assistance of the AAKonsult solution and while it isn't ideal to have to do it, you can certainly do it and achieve what you need to while you wait for SF to deliver. I haven't converted the old flows over to the new flow designer, but here are some screenshots that should give you the idea:
Happy to help anyone that has questions.

Posting in case this helps in light of recent posts about the AAKonsult app not working with Winter 20.
I've installed the app in a personal Winter 20 dev org and from the testing I have done both is seems to work as expected. I have also tested it with the NPSP automatic campaign assignment functionality, and again can't find any issues. I have not tested it with Volunteers for Salesforce however.
@ Stephen Prestwood - what issues were you experiencing?

First, THANK YOU AAKonsult, for so many years of doing Salesforce's job for them...
That said, this is why 3rd-party plugs are NEVER the best answer for holes in Salesforce.
Now what? The PM relied on the very patient and generous 3rd-party a mere 5 mos. ago (Salesforce has for most of the last dozen years and counting), and this is a TOTAL time-wasting nightmare without AAKonsult's app. It'd be my top choice in ANY prioritization for that reason alone.
Brace yourselves, if true, as Winter '20 is already rolling and this will leave some devastation in its wake. As much as Salesforce is buying-up, this should have been a no-brainer to buy and integrate and maintain well before now. Instead WE, the customers/users of Salesforce are now going to pay the price over and over until it's properly fixed.

I have spent a ridiculous number of hours trying to figure out how to add globally change campaign member stauts types thinking that it would be COMMON SENSE for Salesforce to have this option.
How is this functionality NOT available out of the box?! Ridiculous SF! Listen to your customers!

OMG! Comment by Stephen Prestwood suggests that AAconsult isn't compatible with Winter '20. I'm stunned and horrified. AAconsult is a game changer - providing a key functionality that Salesforce has ignored for . . . 12 years! My fingers are crossed that we are not going to lose AAconsult. If I'm wrong, let me be the first to beg Salesforce to DO IT NOW.

@David Louie I recently tested AAkonsult's Campaign Member Status in a Winter 20 Dev org where NPSP and Volunteers for Salesforce were installed. The CMS app was no longer functioning as expected--the CM status values were not updated to the status values set for the Campaign Type. I have not had time to exhaustively troubleshoot the potential cause(s) for the failure, but I did receive a prompt reply from AAKonsult that seemed to indicate the maintenance and support of this free app on the AppExchange are no longer of benefit to the company. That is very concerning given the number of orgs where it is installed, especially with nonprofits that were seeking an economical solution to this missing functionality. Perhaps Salesforce could dig into this a little deeper and find out if there is indeed a compatibility issue with Winter 20? It seems like this is a needed and valued piece of functionality that should be part of the standard campaign setup features.
